How do you use the buyer’s journey framework to your advantage?

Think about the number of times you search for information online, or are exposed to ads on Facebook, a blog, or Google, or when you read online customer reviews.  

Every day, we’re surrounded by content that is strategically placed just when we “need” it. Whether you are selling a physical product, a digital product such as an online course, or a service, understanding your customer journey is essential so you can market effectively.  

Those brands that understand the buying cycle, that create content and strategically place it in just the right place at just the right time, and that master the systems to automate the process…. They are the ones that succeed.  

It’s by no accident that successful online brands succeed. They work for years with strategic marketing efforts to perfect their campaigns, their content, the way they speak to their customers, their messaging, their systems and their products. To establish and cultivate a brand, it’s essential to find out who the audience is, what the audience wants, where they spend their time online and what they need. Then you need to reach them with content that meets their needs better than the competition. 

If your marketing doesn’t cover each aspect of the buyer’s journey, you may have gaps where your customer is not being exposed to your brand. And where there are gaps, competitors will fill them.

Done is better than perfect when you are just starting out. I can say that with conviction, as I’ve travelled this road before.
